Born in Jerusalem, Eli Elezra has made his way to the limelight of the professional poker online circuit after years of grinding it out at the casino online and learning the game. Eli Elezra won his first World Series of Poker bracelet in the 2007 WSOP 7 Card Stud Hi-Low events, winning in the end over Scotty Nguyen. The event was even sweeter for Elezra as he’d made a 10:1 side bet with Barry Greenstein that he would win a bracelet that year. In a way, Elezra’s ‘calling the shot’ is indicative of his assured and confident playing style, which continues to bring him to the front of the poker world.
