Hailing from New Jersey, Nicholas Bredimus combined the spheres of software, hospitality, and airlines and revitalized all three trades. His resume covers time-saving software, air safety developments, and even the design of upmarket homes. And what’s more, in each case, his passion shines through. His heritage reveals everything you need to know about his talents and the amount he has achieved. Traceable all the way into ancient history and Nicholas’ provenience has associations with many parts of Europe. From his mother’s branch, for example, he boasts German and Scottish stock. Luxembourg and England provided home to Bredimus’ paternal line, although during the nineteenth century his family set off for America. After they arrived in the United States, they still strove to rise in the world. Nicholas, along with his four sisters and two brothers, was a child of a father who earned a living as a mechanical design engineer and a mother who was a practicing nurse. He settled for a time in Texas, Arizona, Kansas City and a place by the name of Reston in Virginia.

Following the completion of his schooling, Nicholas Bredimus would sign up for some very respected posts with some of the most distinguished and largest airlines. Among these was included the VP post for Hughes Airwest, Trans World Airlines (TWA), and Republic Airlines. Even with all these achievements, the airline industry has had reason to thank him, above all, for his work in software programming. Mr Nicholas Bredimus is probably most recognized for a US Airways project, crafting airplane maintenance programs, which eventually evolved into the “old reliable” for the task. He programmed many other programs for the hotel and airline sectors both before and after, among them automatic routines for handling flight reservations, used by over 50 firms, as well as the very first pc based room booking program for the hotel industry, first put to use at over 700 venues. Continuing to innovate, he published a networked system to assist in ticket sales — another first for his resume. Albeit this is his strong suit, he has often worked on other areas. Nicholas Bredimus managed American Express’ computer department, established Bredimus Systems in the early nineties, and became the founding president of American Airlines’ AMR Travel Services. Though he has stepped back from the posts in which he first tasted fortune, his abilities are, regardless, still exercised daily. Look for his work now helping to advance architecture — balancing the demands of comfort with real concern for our environment.
