  1. Yes, indeed. That question! It's always interesting to see how various people got into the world of RP, since there's a lot of different ways to get into it. I mean, you might not notice it quickly, but roleplaying is almost everywhere! I myself got into roleplay when I was around 13 years old. It was on this small community RP server on Minecraft called "The Land of Yalin". So many fond memories, aaaaaah. Wonderful! A friend at school and I found out we both played Minecraft and we agreed upon finding a server to play together. I think she introduced me to the term RP, now I think about it. So, my friend and me applied and the next day we created our characters. Oh boy, most of you can probably guess what kind of character was my first! Yes, Edgy Assassin McEdgeEdge. And the fact that my English wasn't all that well didn't help too much. But hey, I had a great time for the few months the server lasted! I met a lot of people there whom I still skype with to this day and after the server shut down, the community still held together (somewhat). Not everything lasts tho, so as soon the group began to shrink, my friend and me applied for the biggest MC RP server at the time, Lord Of The Craft. Oh boy, 'nother one of those stories. On this server, the RP 'level' was soooo much higher than the Yalin, so I had a tough time adjusting to the new standard. I did get through the application process on the first try, but that was largely due to my giant ultra descriptive and ultra cliché/edgy bio I wrote up. I am happy to say that my character didn't live up to the bio and didn't become an edgelord. Instead, I was a pretty shy but optimistic character... but I nearly got RP killed on my first day. I played very sporadically on that server the following year, but every time less and less, since I just couldn't find my place in the scene and world. Eventually, i just stopped and turned to writing fanfiction and fiction. But then, the old Yalin community gathered once more and we revived, or tried to, the server. It didn't last long but the new age was very fun for the length it lasted. After it died again, I turned to writing and music once more, although I have been doing Vampire: The Masquerade LARPs for the past 3 years. Good stuff! And now I'm here. Yay. New chapter ahooy! So, what's YOUR story?
  2. A big pillow. Oh well, at least I can get some rest.
  3. Saw these guys last night. Crazy, energetic, mind-boggling performance. Definitely would recommend.
  4. No love for Steins;Gate? That's my favorite anime for sure! INCREDIBLE story and characters (and it's 24 episodes, a movie and an OVA!) This gem is just a wild rollercoaster through and through. The feels, the story, the characters, ALL OF IT. Oh well, this might be handy for some people. BOOP! ANIMELIST, YAY!
  5. And that little event has been planned! Come join on the first day of the community weekend! Be sure to sign up for the event!

TeamSpeak: Optional Coordinator: Wafflemancer Centuries ago, the Forgotten magically erected Tarir to hold and nurture the artefacts Glint would leave behind. Now, Tarir is in danger. Heroes of Tyria must rise up to defend it before it is too late! The Battle for Tarir is an event chain in the Auric Basin map. It's a battle fought on four fronts, which have to be taken down simultaneously. Requiring coordination and cooperation, the event is a moderate challenge suitable for any type of player.
  14. I don't know about you guys, but I do like me some Awesomenauts! If you don't know what it is, a very very brief description would be 'an incredibly fun 2D MOBA'. Only started playing this nearly the end of December but I've been having a blast since. So, anyone else here a regular Awesomenauts player?
  15. Hi. I'm Pim, one of the new coördinators/trainee commanders in DV. I'm 19 years old and live in the lovely land of waffles and beer, Belgium. I'm a student studying jazz drums and jazz vibraphone; I mainly focus on that genre but don't try to limit myself to only that. I don't really know when I encountered OC, I think it was late September on Tequatl. Been doing events with OC ever since. Really don't have much to say honestly, so yeah, I'll just... You know, erm, let the next person introduce themselves.
