On May 1st, OpenCommunity will be 2 years old! In celebration of that, we are throwing a 7-day party filled with as many events as we can cram in! On May 13th, we are also going to be one of the two official EU organizers for this year's MS Toga Party, a charity event raising money & awareness for multiple sclerosis research! We have decided to make the MS Toga Party fundraiser our sponsored charity for the entire 8 days of the Community Week! There will be prizes, there will be fun, and there will be lots of things to do!
Note that some regular events might be cancelled for the duration of the Community Week event.
Sat 6th - Community Birthday! Sun 7th - Community Birthday pt. 2! Mon 8th-Fri 12th - Community Week! Sat 13th - MS Toga Party! So join us for 8 days of crazy, amazing events, great rewards, and raising money for charity!

The Three-Headed Great Jungle Wurm terrorizes the jungle! But we're ready to terrorize it back! The Vigil Crusaders are ready and waiting for the armies of Tyrian heroes to march into the Wurm's domain and slay the giant creature.
The Triple Trouble event is a fast-paced, high-intensity event where three teams must coordinate their efforts to slay the three heads of the Wurm at the same time. Due to the large number of split-second decisions, TeamSpeak is required. No experience with the event is required, all tactics & mechanics are explained beforehand.

We’re very pleased to announce that MS Toga Party will be returning once again in May 2017 with a day of events, prizes and fun all in the name of raising money and awareness for charity!
Gamers giving back will once more be teaming with multiple groups & communities from across the world as we once more strive to make the world a better place by doing what we do best, playing video games!
For those of you who have never got the chance to experience MS Toga Party or any other of the charity events that are run every year, this is a long running event spanning all the way back to Guild Wars 1 & is a great way to meet new people, win great prizes & make a difference in people’s lives.

So what is Multiple Sclerosis?
Multiple Sclerosis (or MS as it is more commonly known) is a lesser known progressive disease that affects the central nervous system which can affect you in many different ways. Gamers Giving Back wrote a great explanation of what MS is & the effects it can have which you can find here: Gamers Giving Back description.
When it is happening?
The event is scheduled for Saturday 13th May 2017 with more details about schedules and prizes being made available as the event draws closer.
How to get involved
The best way to get involved is to obviously attend the event, though we encourage anyone to help spread awareness of this cause!
