  1. Alrighty then!

First off, I'll follow your example and post my favourite art stream: https://www.twitch.tv/okolnir/ It's the artist behind Carciphona if anyone knows it.

https://www.twitch.tv/cohhcarnage is my go-to stream for various games. Personally, it's a really enjoyable and high-quality stream. His playthrough of Darkest Dungeon and XCOM-2 was something I watched whenever he was online.

Ashe https://www.twitch.tv/ladyinsanity streams various games but the real reason I watch her is usually her BioWare content ^^ She's amazing regarding that and also runs The Shaperate, a webpage for all BioWare (ME, DA) news.

And since I don't wanna spam various LoL streamers, I'll leave you with these three. xD

  2. Heya Purple!

Damn, I feel like I missed out on so much bc I played RuneScape while everyone else played WoW! Yay for AoE tho :D Have you ever tried Heroes of Might and Magic?
Tbh, I'm not really opposed to ANet pushing a bit more towards the holy trinity. As long as they leave some space, like druid and auramancer, there's more than one good condi build and a lot of classes can tank.

Also, welcome to the forums ;)

  3. Today, the DV raid group met up and journeyed into the Spirit Vale! And we managed to down the Vale Guardian with half the group being beginners! And not only that, we did it without anyone in the squad dying! :D

It took a few tries, people went and came, but all's well what ends well. Afterwards, we went to check on the lovely Gorseval and we saw he was still there and more than willing to mop the floor with us ^^

    • Seyana Ice (dps dragonhunter)
    • Nori Knox (dps tempest)
    • Cracss (condi necro)
    • Felarof (PS berserker)
    • Developer Ballmer (dps chronomancer)
    • Carduus Glaucus (condi necro)
    • Arvynthir (druid healer)

Great build but I have a question. Is using overload fire really useful? I mean in many guides I saw it is skipped due to lower dmg and larger interval than overload air.

This build focuses on damage the fire attunement provides. It excels at fighting stationary targets with large hitboxes (e.g. Gorseval). On smaller/moving/multiple targets, the fresh air build (the one that focuses on overload air, as you mentioned), does more damage.

Overload fire does a lot of damage if you can manage to hit the target with the full channel (remember, the overload leaves a tornado even after the channel, which constantly burns enemies). On top of that, overload fire pulses might to allies, so it's used for that as well.

On top of all that, the fire build in general pve is probably safer than fresh air due to the distance you can keep between yourself and the enemy.

  5. There is indeed a gorilla. His name is Winston and he's a banana loving genious.

Overwatch is great, but it's 10x better if you have a full team of friends. My bunch decided that we won't play it that much, while we have league, cs and other stuff we play, so I didn't buy it. But if you intend to play a lot, it's probably worth the money.

  6. So today, while I was shamelessly begging Zommoros to finally give me some Mystic Clovers, someone announced this challenge in the map chat:

And I, like the JP addict I am, promptly delivered:

Shortly after, he bolted, no doubt afraid he was going to have to give out more gold ;)

In other news, with the return of the old Borderlands, the WvW JPs are back \o/

  7. I tried it, played way too much in the past two days xD

Probably won't spend all that money to buy it, but I really liked it. I'd really love to learn Widowmaker, but I really like playing Soldier 76 and Pharah. Also Mercy if I have a good team.

  8. I gotta say, I'm liking the patch overall :D I'm not sure about the giant amount of gold they are suddenly giving away with dailies, boss rewards, chest rewards, HoT map rewards, etc.

The fractal changes, as Sithi said, are awesome. I can finally do other fractals without having to find a dedicated climbing group!
As for dungeons, I like it. Dungeons are a great pick-it-up content for newer players and are enjoyable for the veterans. But what I like most is the bonus tokens. I finally don't have to grind AC for a set of monk runes :P

And the new dailies are also great, some variety was needed (and we got daily JPs!!!). I have no idea why they are giving free 2g/day away now, since you do 1 pvp match and even if you do very poorly, you go look at a vista and voila, free money.

Plus now that it isn't such a chore, I'll finally get around to levelling in HoT again. ^^

Forgot to add this, farming maxed out GHs now gives orichalcum and ancient logs!
